The Alabama Crimson Tide will be facing off against the Georgia Bulldogs this weekend, giving the team a chance to take down a top-three team in the nation.
Alabama enters this game with a record of 5-0, with the Bulldogs holding the same through the first few weeks of the season. The Crimson Tide are the No. 6 team in the country, while Georgia comes in at No. 2.
This SEC showdown is one of the bigger games from the weekend schedule, offering each side a chance to make a massive statement. Alabama is hosting the game, potentially giving them a slight edge entering into the contest.
But ahead of the game, it has been announced that former Alabama star quarterback Bryce Young will be the guest picker on College GameDay. Young, currently with the Carolina Panthers in the NFL, will return to Tuscaloosa for this special honor.
College football analyst Pat McAfee announced the news of Young coming to Tuscaloosa on his show . McAfee works College GameDay, so he will be right next to Young for the picks.

The Panthers are currently on a bye week, so this is the perfect time for Young to come back to Alabama. Young saw a lot of success as the quarterback of the Crimson Tide, winning the the Heisman Trophy in 2021.
With Alabama, Young also set the school's single-game passing yards record with 559 yards, bringing the Crimson Tide offense together. While Alabama didn't win a title with Young under center, they did make the championship game, falling to Georgia.
Young understands exactly what this matchup with Georgia is, and how crucial it has become for the Crimson Tide to get into the College Football Playoff. This rivalry has taken new heights in recent years, and the newest chapter of it will be written this weekend.
As for Young, he has started to put it all together in the NFL after a few years of inconsistent play in Carolina. Through the first four games of the season, Young has thrown for 1,268 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions, completing 62.3 percent of his passes.
The Panthers have the top passing attack in the league, which is credited to Young's play so far. If the former Alabama star can keep it up, Carolina may be able to surprise people again this year, getting back to the playoffs.
But for now, Young seems to be taking advantage of his bye week, and the Crimson Tide will be happy to have him back on campus.
