Aldis Hodge and Wunmi Mosaku are coming together in a new movie. The two talents are set to star in the upcoming thriller “One Night Out,” directed by George Tillman Jr.
Reported by Deadline, the Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures film will stream on Prime Video worldwide at a later date. As described, “One Night Out” is based on a short story written by Nelson Greaves, who also wrote the script. In the movie, a couple experiencing marital issues leave a babysitter at home with their three kids during a rare night out. The night goes horribly awry after they see someone in their house on the nanny cam, and they must race home and work together to save their kids.
“I’ve wanted to work with Aldis and Wunmi for years. We’ve talked in the past about collaborating, but I’ve been looking for the right project for us to do together, and I’m very happy we found it in ‘One Night Out’,” expressed Tillman to “Deadline.”

The casting news comes as the “Sinners” star prepares for the release of “The Social Reckoning,” which she stars in alongside Mikey Madison, Jeremy Strong, Jeremy Allen White, and Bill Burr, due out in theaters Friday (Oct. 9). The movie chronicles what occured when former Facebook employee Frances Haugen leaked thousands of internal company documents to The Wall Street Journal and exposed what the company knew about some of its platforms’ harms, known as the Facebook Files.
“I think Raya is kind of like everyone,” the Oscar-nominated actress told theGrio of her role as a member of Meta’s legal counsel in the film. “We all have our morals. We all have our idea of what we think is right and wrong, and we say what we say, but do we always walk the walk?
As for Aldis Hodge, his Prime Video hit series “Cross” was renewed for a third season earlier this year.
