Going into the matchup, Alabama sought payback against Florida State. They lost to the Seminoles 31-17 in the 2025 contest, presenting the stakes that these teams had in this year’s rematch.

The visitors valiantly competed with Alabama, trading touchdowns as the game went into a shootout. However, the Crimson Tide had more big moments down the stretch and secured the win to record a historic feat no fan has seen in over five decades.
