Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams will not play against No. 14 Tennessee, according to head coach Kalen DeBoer. The Tide star was listed as doubtful before he was downgraded.
Coleman-Williams had three receptions for 39 yards in Saturday's rivalry game against Georgia before he was injured. He left that game twice with injuries. His first exit was after he attempted to go for a pass in the end zone and failed to get to his feet on his own. Coleman-Williams returned to the game shortly after.
He left the game again after a big hit from Georgia safety KJ Bolden that left him unconscious. The receiver did not return to the game after that hit and was evaluated for a concussion.
"Pretty good chance we wouldn't have him here this weekend. Probably be week-to-week after that," DeBoer said on the status of his receiver after the game. However, that changed on Monday morning.
Alabama will face Tennessee without Coleman-Williams on the road on Saturday, October 17 (3:30 p.m. ET).
