One of the best quarterbacks in modern college football history had some high praise for the Michigan State faithful.
Former Notre Dame quarterback and current college football TV personality Brady Quinn was recently asked about which was his favorite road stadium during an interview, and you may be surprised at what he said. He gave the nod to Spartan Stadium — the home of Michigan State football.
You can watch Quinn's full reasoning for picking the Spartan Stadium as his favorite road venue in the embedded video below:
Brady Quinn played in Knoxville, the Sugar Bowl, and plenty of big road environments.
His favorite road stadium outside Notre Dame? Michigan State.

Quinn played at Notre Dame from 2003 to 2006, which included four matchups against Michigan State. In his four years with the Fighting Irish, Quinn went 2-2 — but both of his wins came at Spartan Stadium. The most notable of those two wins was the 40-37 comeback victory in 2006, where Notre Dame scored 19 unanswered points to stun Michigan State. That game ultimately led to the eventual firing of John L. Smith with the wheels coming off the train after that brutal comeback defeat.
Spartan Stadium can be a great environment when Michigan State is humming. So I'm not surprised to hear Quinn give some praise to the Spartans faithful that make it such a hard venue to play at when Michigan State is a good team. Hopefully, Michigan State will get back on track and make things fun again at Spartan Stadium this upcoming season.
