The Wisconsin Badgers are continuing forward in their 2027 class, with the latest commitment being linebacker Keaton Wollan, a three-star recruit hailing from Amery, Wisconsin.

Wollan, who stands 6’2, 210 pounds, had seen his recruitment start to take off this spring. The Texas Tech Red Raiders were his first reported offer, according to 247Sports, offering a scholarship in February. Then, the Iowa State Cyclones followed with an offer in March before his commitment to them in April.

However, the Badgers were able to keep Wollan home and flipped his recruitment on Wednesday, despite the linebacker not having a reported offer from Wisconsin prior to his announcement.

But Wollan had been on an unofficial visit to Wisconsin this spring as his recruitment started to heat up. Then, as the Badgers pulled the trigger on an offer, Wollan jumped and committed to the program.

Wollan is now expected to take an official visit to Madison during the last weekend of May.

He becomes the 13th commit in the 2027 class for the Badgers, and the ninth recruit from the state of Wisconsin.
