Rest as Many Starters as Possible

LSU has endured a lot over the first four weeks of the season and the injuries are piling up. You’ve already lost DaShawn Spears, Charles Ross, and Philip Wright for the year while both #7s TreyDez Green and Whit Weeks will miss extended time with injuries. The backups at LSU are more than capable of beating McNeese and we should see a lot of 2nd and 3rd team tonight so that the starters that have nagging issues can get rest before the schedule gets back to the SEC grind.

RUN THE BALL

Tonight is the perfect opportunity to get your running game and offensive line some confidence. Bully your opponent, run the football effectively, and let your backs believe that they can even do it against the top competition in the SEC. Once LSU is able to put both the running game and the passing game together, this offense will be nearly impossible to stop.

Don’t Let the Weather Take Over

The forecast is not looking favorable for football tonight and there may even be some delays. LSU needs to control the situation just like they did in Week 1 with Clemson. Stay calm and composed in the locker room while the opposition gets nervous in the visitors’ room. Then, come out on the field and handle business.
