Colorado is still pushing hard for help on the line, and four-star defensive lineman Tyler Alexander has become one of the most important names on the board. The Palm Beach Central standout from Wellington, Florida, has Colorado in his final four along with Georgia, Texas and Notre Dame.
Alexander visited Boulder on May 15 and came away impressed, calling the trip phenomenal. That matters for a Colorado staff that knows it has to get better up front. The Buffs need more disruption inside, more size and more players who can make offenses pay for sitting in the pocket too long.

At 6-foot-3.5 and 315 pounds, Alexander already looks like a college interior lineman. But what makes him interesting is how well he moves for that size. He plays with a quick first step and showed it last season, finishing with 46 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
That kind of production is hard to ignore, especially for a Colorado team trying to rebuild its defense, which struggled to stop the run in 2025. New coordinator Chris Marve and defensive tackles coach Dante Carter have made the front line a priority, and Alexander fits that need.
Colorado still has work to do as Georgia, Texas and Notre Dame are all heavyweight programs, and Alexander’s June 12 visit to South Bend could matter. However, the Buffs have put themselves in a strong position with a strong visit, which is at least enough to keep this recruitment worth watching.
