BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football remained at No. 5 in US LMB Coaches Poll, but dropped one spot to No. 7 in the latest AP Poll.
The Hoosiers (5-0) demolished Rutgers, 47-15, in their first road game with the offense having its best outing of the season with 593 total yards.
Indiana remained the Big Ten's top ranked team in the coaches poll — ahead of No. 6 Ohio State (4-1) — and received eight first place votes. In the AP Poll, IU dropped behind Alabama (5-0) after losing ground to OSU last week.
It's the Hoosiers lowest ranking of the season in either poll.
