ESPN predicts the winner of every Wisconsin football game in 2026

With roughly a month and a half remaining until Week 1, ESPN recently unveiled its annual matchup predictor for the 2026 college football season, including projected winning percentages for every Wisconsin Badgers game.

ESPN Analytics' matchup predictor, which offers a prediction model based on its college football power index and other variables, forecasts Wisconsin to finish 8-4 overall and 6-3 in Big Ten play.

Clearly, Notre Dame is the Week 1 favorite. This should come as no surprise, especially knowing the Fighting Irish will be ranked nationally come Sunday, September 6.

Wisconsin, to no surprise, is projected to win its next two non-conference matchups. When it comes to Big Ten play, only Penn State, USC, and Iowa are projected to beat the Badgers.
