The Auburn Tigers open SEC play on Saturday against the Florida Gators. The game will begin at 6 p.m. CT inside Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
ESPN announced this week that Tom Hart (play-by-play), Roddy Jones (color analyst), and Quint Kessenich (sideline reporter) will call the game from Jordan-Hare Stadium. The usual radio broadcast crew of Andy Burcham, Jason Campbell, and Bret Eddins will call the game on the Auburn Sports Network, with live coverage beginning three hours before kickoff on your local Auburn Sports Network affiliate.
Auburn football is off to a hot start with a 2-0 record, picking up wins over Baylor and Southern Miss. Auburn out-gained Southern Miss in Week 2, 613-221, and posted an impressive 343 rushing yards. Running back Omar Mabson rushed for a career-high 108 yards in Auburn's 43-8 win and scored his first career touchdown. The Tigers will aim to move their record to 3-0 on Saturday with a key SEC win over the Florida Gators.
The Gators, also 2-0, have produced solid offensive numbers early on. Florida enters the game ranked No. 2 in the SEC in points per game (59.0) and No. 5 in total yards (569.0). However, Florida will face its first challenge on Saturday when it meets Auburn on the road.
Kickoff between the Auburn Tigers and the Florida Gators is set for Saturday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
