FC Cincinnati game delayed at start for inclement weather

Kevin Denkey (9) celebrates with teammates after his goal in the first half gave FC Cincinnati a 1-0 lead against the New York Red Bulls at Sports Illustrated Stadium Oct. 4.

FC Cincinnati's contest against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, Aug. 1 at TQL Stadium has been delayed before its start due to lighting in the area. The game was initially set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

The video board at TQL Stadium advised that fans in the Bailey supporters' section and field seats exit the seating bowl "for safety." A new kickoff time has not been revealed.

Several other events in Cincinnati have been affected, including the Chris Stapleton concert at nearby Paycor Stadium.
