Florida football’s schedule doesn’t get any easier this week as the Gators face their sixth top-25 opponent this season.
UF (3-6, 2-4 SEC) will stay on the road to face No. 7 Ole Miss at Vaught Hemingway Stadium in Oxford on Saturday, Nov. 15. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the game televised nationally on ESPN.
The Gators come off a 31-7 loss to Kentucky, while the Rebels (9-1, 5-1) defeated The Citadel 49-0.
Ole Miss‘ offense is led by quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, who has thrown for 2,356 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has also run for 434 yards and six scores. Notably, the Rebels have five different wide receivers with at least 20 catches.
On the defensive side of the ball, TJ Dottery leads the team with 63 tackles and has registered 4.5 tackles for loss. The Rebels have also recorded 21 sacks as a team, but Ole Miss (9-1, 5-1) does surrender 143 rushing yards per game.
Florida quarterback DJ Lagway has now thrown for 1,679 yards, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Running back Jaden Baugh has now rushed for 683 yards and five scores.
UF linebacker Myles Graham has recorded 48 tackles, 3.5 TFLs and four bass breakups.

Florida vs Ole Miss odds, money line, over/under
It’s hard to see a scenario where Florida pulls out this upset as the Gators have to win a game on the road this season. Ole Miss’ high-powered offense will cause plenty of headaches for Florida. The Gator offense will struggle to respond, while the defense have its fair share of problems stopping quarterback Trinidad Chambliss. Florida will need a far better performance from quarterback DJ Lagway and the rest of the offense, but with injuries mounting it’s hard to see that happening.

Florida vs Ole Miss predictions, picks for college football Week 12
Andrew Abadie, The Gainesville Sun
Ole Miss 49, Florida 10: This week will unfortunately be déjà vu for Florida. The Gators won’t be able to stop Ole Miss’ offense, while the UF offense will continue to struggle to points up. The Rebels’ quarterback Trinidad Chambliss will have one of his best performances of the season. The loss will officially mean that Florida will miss a bowl game.
Kevin Brockway, The Gainesville Sun
Ole Miss 45, Florida 17: Given Florida’s defensive struggles last week against Kentucky, it’s hard to imagine the Gators regrouping against an Ole Miss offense that ranks second in the SEC and fourth nationally at 489.4 yards per game. Look for Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss to have a big day with both his arm and his legs. Florida quarterback DJ Lagway will play better, but not good enough to keep up with the high-powered Ole Miss attack.
Noah Ram, The Gainesville Sun
Ole Miss 45, Florida 17: Boy, this one could get ugly. If Florida allowed 38 points to a Kentucky team with a mediocre offense, who knows how many they can allow to Ole Miss? Lane Kiffin will find the weaknesses in the Gator defense, and while I think DJ Lagway will play better than his debacle in Lexington, the Gators simply can’t keep up with the Runnin’ Rebels. UF will officially miss a bowl game for the second time in three years.
