Florida State has picked up some steam in the 2027 recruiting cycle with four commitments over the last week, and three of them have been blue-chip recruits. They have received a prediction to land another one.
Four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune has been a major target for FSU for quite a while now. He’s had them as his leader for a few months, and Chad Simmons of Rivals has logged a prediction for the 6-foot-3, 280-pounder to commit to the Seminoles.
If this is to come about, it would be a gigantic victory for Florida State in recruiting, and it would give them multiple elite prospects on the defensive line as four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro has already pledged. Plus, it could persuade other recruits who are considering FSU to do the same, and a plethora are in Tallahassee for a camp this weekend, including LeJeune.
Eyes will certainly be on this situation even more now that Florida State has taken full advantage of LeJeune’s current official visit. He is also considering the Auburn Tigers, Washington Huskies, and California Golden Bears.
LeJeune is the nation’s No. 125 overall player and the No. 12 defensive lineman per Rivals’ industry rankings. In the state of Mississippi, he’s listed as the No. 5 prospect.
