Football: 2027 4-star CB Daniel Yebit commits to TCU

TCU football made its biggest splash of the 2027 recruiting cycle Wednesday evening, picking up a commitment from Yukon (OK) four-star cornerback Daniel Yebit. Yebit, the No. 5 ranked player in Oklahoma and the No. 15 ranked cornerback prospect in the country, chose the Horned Frogs over Minnesota, Arizona State, Arkansas and more. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder starred on both sides of the ball during his junior year at Yukon, catching 43 passes for 760 yards and six touchdowns at receiver while adding 37 tackles and four interceptions on defense.

As a sophomore, Yebit totaled 41 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. The Yukon standout becomes the new highest-rated recruit in the 2027 class for the Horned Frogs, who now have 14 recruits and three cornerbacks in the class. A multi-sport athlete, Yebit was a state high jump champion and state runner-up in long jump during his sophomore year. He placed second in both high jump and long jump in the indoor state finals as a junior.
