A former Nebraska quarterback is set to make his first start for his new school. The Oregon Ducks have announced that Dylan Raiola will start in Saturday's game against the UCLA Bruins.
Raiola is replacing Dante Moore as the starting quarterback. Moore was knocked out in Oregon's Sept. 26 win over the USC Trojans. The former Husker played significant minutes in the Ducks' victory, finishing with 289 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Raiola played for Nebraska during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He joined Nebraska as the top 2024 quarterback recruit in the country, passing for nearly 8,500 career yards with 88 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions in his high school career.
In 22 career games at Nebraska, he threw for 4,819 yards, 31 touchdowns and 17 interceptions while completing 69.1% of his passes. The 2025 season was cut short after suffering an injury in a loss against USC. He threw for 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Nebraska is scheduled to play at Oregon on October 17. It's unclear how long Moore will be out, so the Huskers could face their former quarterback sooner rather than later.
The Ducks host the Bruins at Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
