Texas was able to remain undefeated last Saturday as they took down UTSA 30-6. In attendance was a plethora recruiting prospects, and one of them was 2029 four-star athlete Ryder Flugence out of Boerne, Texas.

For the 6-foot-5, 205-pounder, it was his first trip to Texas. With first impressions being so important, the Longhorns aced that test per Horns247.

"I thought they played well," Flugence said. "They started off well, and throughout the game they were a little rocky. At the end of the day, all that matters is that they came out with the win. Not every win is going to look pretty. I was very impressed by their offensive line. On a lot of the passes, they gave the Arch a lot of time to make the throws."

Quarterback Arch Manning struggled as he went 16 for 32 for just 161 yards. He did throw two touchdowns to Cam Coleman, but Texas was fueled by its running game which gained 231 yards thanks to a collective effort from Hollywood Smothers, Derrek Cooper, Raleek Brown, and Manning. Each player had over 40 yards on the ground.

As impressive as that was, Flugence spoke on what the main thing was that caught his eye during the trip.

"I would say my favorite part of the visit was just the environment," he said. "It is a place that you want to be at."

Flugence is the No. 1 player nationally and the No. 1 athlete per 247Sports. They also have him listed as the No. 1 prospect in Texas.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee got tips of the hat from Flugence. Now, they need to get him back on campus for another visit. Texas Tech and Oklahoma are the schools he's trying to visit also.
