FSU offers 2028 athlete in Tennessee

Florida State has been one of the hottest programs on the recruiting trail. They've added two commitments in the 2028 class since June, and they've identified another prospect in the cycle as a target.

Four-star athlete Antwaun Adams has around close to 20 offers currently, and on Thursday, FSU added their name to his list suitors. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder announced an offer from the Seminoles on social media.

"#AGTG blessed to receive an offer from Florida state university," Adams said.

Florida State is in for a battle if they want to land Adams. SEC schools in particular are after him as the Georgia Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, Florida Gators, Ole Miss Rebels, Tennessee Volunteers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Auburn Tigers, and Kentucky Wildcats have all offered. The defending national champions, the Indiana Hoosiers, have also extended an offer to Adams.

The 247Sports composite rankings has Adams listed as the No. 114 prospect, the No. 10 safety, and the No. 5 player in Tennessee. Rivals industry rankings have him deemed as the No. 114 player, the No. 18 wide receiver, and the No. 4 prospect in Tennessee.

Adams is a native of the state of Mississippi, and he played his junior campaign at South Pike High School. He racked up 25 receptions for 466 yards and six touchdowns on offense. Defensively, Adams logged 25 tackles, two tackles for loss, and three interceptions, including two he ran back for touchdowns. For his junior campaign, Adams transferred to the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Smart money says that Adams will be a player that FSU looks to get on campus during the season.
