The Florida State Seminoles are focused on their 2027 and 2028 recruiting classes, but they are also laying the groundwork for their 2029 class. One of their early targets to know is edge PJ Wilson, who is from Loganville, Georgia.

They extended him a scholarship offer on June 14 after he attended a camp in Tallahassee. He already has over a dozen scholarship offers, but the Seminoles and Georgia Bulldogs are the two schools that are standing out early, according to Chad Simmons of Rivals.

FSU's coaching staff, with head coach Mike Norvell leading the way, made a great impression when Wilson visited for the first time.

“It was great down there,” he said. “The coaches, even coach Mike Norvell, treated me like one of their own. They made me feel at home. They’re great guys, and I’d love to develop under them.”

Wilson played in six games as a freshman at Graysonville High School, showcasing the potential that has FSU interested. He recorded nine tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, six quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble.

While he needs to keep developing, Wilson has the potential to be a key target for the Seminoles in the 2029 recruiting cycle, but they will surely have plenty of competetion for him. They will need to get him back on campus as frequently as possible, especially with the in-state Bulldogs also involved.
