The Georgia Bulldogs are 4-0 after another blowout victory on Saturday afternoon, this time over the Oklahoma Sooners in a game that was supposed to present a real test for the first time this season.

Instead, it was a 41-13 beat down after several crippling Sooners turnovers by quarterback John Mateer, and through four games, Georgia has outscored its opponents by 166 points. The Dawgs got off to a quick start, jumping out to a 21-0 lead after an inexplicable Mateer fumble on the goal line was returned all the way for a Chris Cole score.

By halftime, it was 28-0 and Oklahoma never showed any real signs of life to get back into it.

Georgia's Performance Aided by Some Huge Games from Stars

Talyn Taylor had his official coming out party on offense as the leading receiver on the game, racking up 110 yards on four receptions including a long touchdown in the first half on an absolute strike from Gunner Stockton to show that the sophomore has earned his quarterback's trust.

No other player had more than two receptions, and on a day when Nate Frazier was out at running back, it was a committee that picked up the slack for him. Dwight Phillips Jr. was the leading rusher with. 84 yards on eight carries including a long touchdown, and while Chauncey Bowens had a quiet day with 26 yards on nine touches, he added two scores on the ground of his own.

It was a special performance against a team that while talented, did shoot itself in the foot over and over again, and the Bulldogs have proven they are not a team you can make those kinds of mistakes against. At the end of the day, Georgia might be the best team in the country right now, but they still have yet to really be tested by anyone.

In today's day and age of college football, it's unlikely they are simply world's more talented than the rest of the sport, so another week goes by without seeing the Bulldogs have to get into a fight.

With the way teams on their schedule like Alabama and Florida are playing though, it will not be long before Georgia is truly put to the test. For the moment though, the Dawgs need to keep their heads down and keep getting better, because their opponents are going to do the same.
