Georgia and Alabama will meet again Saturday in Tuscaloosa, giving Bulldogs fans another chance to see Georgia try to end a long road drought against the Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs will travel to Bryant-Denny Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff Saturday, Oct. 10. The matchup will mark another chapter in one of the SEC's most prominent recent rivalries.

But when was the last time Georgia beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa?

It has been nearly two decades.

Georgia's last win in Tuscaloosa came in 2007

The last time Georgia defeated Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium was Sept. 22, 2007.

Georgia won that game 26-23 in overtime, with quarterback Matthew Stafford finding receiver Mikey Henderson for a 25-yard touchdown on Georgia's first play of overtime.

Alabama had taken a 23-20 lead with a field goal before the Bulldogs answered with the winning touchdown.

That remains Georgia's most recent victory in Tuscaloosa.

Georgia has played Alabama in Tuscaloosa multiple times since then, including in Athens, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Tuscaloosa.

The most recent meeting in Tuscaloosa came Sept. 28, 2024, when Alabama defeated Georgia 41-34.

When was the last time Georgia beat Alabama anywhere?

Georgia does not have to look nearly as far back for its most recent win over Alabama.

The Bulldogs defeated the Crimson Tide 28-7 on Dec. 6, 2025, in the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

That victory gave Georgia the most recent win in the series heading into Saturday's game.

Despite Georgia's recent success against Alabama, the Crimson Tide hold the advantage in the all-time series.

Alabama has 45 wins, Georgia has 27 wins and the teams have played to four ties.

That streak stretched from 1910 through 1916.

Alabama's longest winning streak

Alabama's longest winning streak in the series is seven games, spanning 2008 through 2021.

The streak ended when Georgia defeated Alabama 33-18 in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game in Indianapolis.

Georgia has won the most recent meeting

While Georgia has not won in Tuscaloosa since 2007, the Bulldogs enter Saturday having won the most recent matchup between the programs.

Georgia's 28-7 victory in the 2025 SEC Championship ended Alabama's immediate advantage in the series and gave the Bulldogs the current one-game winning streak, according to Winsipedia.

Now, Georgia will try to add another road victory over Alabama to the history books, nearly 19 years after its last one in Tuscaloosa.
