The Georgia Bulldogs are just days away from the start of their season with game week now officially here and football back in Sanford Stadium this coming weekend against Tennessee State.

During fall camp, it's the best time for players to separate themselves as critical pieces of the team, and this year was no exception. A number of players began to trend at exactly the right time and have become establishes as guys who will be playing big roles.

In that category, there may be no better example than veteran tight end Jaden Reddell, who despite being the second tight end on the depth chart behind Lawson Luckie may just prove to be someone the Bulldogs cannot operate without. Reddell has been talked about a ton, and in his stock up/stock down for after the end of camp, Jeremy Johnson of UGA Sports On3 thinks he has done enough that he can no longer be ignored.

Jaden Reddell Had Huge Fall Camp and Looks Like Star

"Reddell’s hype train reached a peak during the middle stages of camp. He’s waited his turn and developed in his first two years in Athens," Johnson wrote. "Reddell is going to be a big piece of the offense from the jump in 2026."

While Reddell has not made much of an impact in the passing game over his first two years in the program, it seems like he has bought into the process at Georgia and developed into someone who can help the team in a big way this year. With a wide receiver room that has had as many questions asked about it as anywhere else, the tight end unit may be leaned on more than ever for the Bulldogs.

The luxury of having someone like Reddell as the second name there cannot be understated.

This is a guy who was a top-ten tight end in the nation coming out of high school and a top-100 player overall regardless of position. Just because it has taken him some time does not mean he can't have a tremendous Georgia career ahead of him.

Based on the way things have gone during fall camp, it seems like this season has the potential to be the start of that development. When the Dawgs take the field this weekend, look for Reddell to establish himself early and often as someone who Gunner Stockton is looking to get the ball to.
