The Kentucky football season is now just 34 days away, with Youngstown State scheduled for game one. As we count down the days until Sep. 5, we're getting to know the 2026 roster, and today we're taking a look at No. 34, Isaiah Jackson.

Jackson is a 5'10", 185 lb running back out of Richmond, Kentucky. He was rated three stars as a recruit by 247Sports and ranked as the No. 2,252 overall player in the class in their composite rankings. As a high school senior, he rushed for over 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns while also playing defense.

Though he had a three-star rating from all the major recruiting services, Jackson wasn't heavily recruited. He originally chose to walk-on at Louisville, but early this year, he decommitted and decided to join the Wildcats as a walk-on instead.

Heading into his freshman season, Jackson isn't likely to see a lot of playing time, but he plans to practice with the team, and be ready in case they want to get him some touches. He's a talented player who was somewhat overlooked in his recruiting cycle, and he's sure to be hungry to prove he can be a difference-maker on the field.
