It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Jayden Mann
Position:Offensive Line
Year: Redshirt Freshman
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 315 lbs
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
High School: Cardinal Hayes
2025 stats: Mann played in the final two games of the 2025 season against Notre Dame and Boston College. That allowed him to preserve his redshirt.
2026 projections: The impression I got from spring practice was that Mann not only improved, but impressed his coaches. There’s still a lot of talent in front of him, but Mann seems to be in prime position to break into the starting offensive line within the next two years. For now, he’ll probably see limited action in 2026.
How’d he get here?: Syracuse beat out Georgia Tech, Rutgers and West Virginia in Mann’s top four during recruiting. Other notable Power Four schools in Auburn, Maryland, Michigan State, Pitt and Tennessee offered him as well.
What’d recruiting sites say?: A three-star prospect all around by all recruiting sites. Mann was a consensus top-10 player in the state of New York.
Social Media: @heem.mann
Interesting nugget o’interest: Mann isn’t the only Orange player to hail from Cardinal Hayes. Quarterback Rich Belin also went to Cardinal Hayes.
Let’s get a look at ya: It was very fun to watch this drill in spring practice.
