Indiana football is set for its first road game of the season, traveling to the East Coast to take on Rutgers this Saturday evening at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey.

These Hoosiers are looking to go 5-0 and extend the program’s record winning streak to 21 games in the process of doing so. The Scarlet Knights’ record isn’t impressive at 1-3, but they’ve put up some amount of fight in losing efforts against Boston College and USC after the season-opening stunner against UMass.

Why not try our hand at some predictions with your help? We’ll have fan polls looking to forecast Indiana’s players of the game, statistical leaders and more. Share your thoughts below!

Who will be Indiana’s Offensive Player of the Game?

Josh Hoover could be set for a big game with Indiana’s running backs room and Rutgers’ defensive backs potentially limited due to injury. But Lee Beebe Jr. and Turbo Richard have shown explosive potential should they be available. Then there’s the ever-reliable Charlie Becker, or perhaps Nick Marsh has his breakout performance as a pass catcher in the cream and cream and crimson.

Who earns the nod?

Who will be Indiana’s Defensive Player of the Game?

Stephen Daley performed well enough against Northwestern to earn the nod, can he repeat? What about the newcomers, Tobi Osunsanmi and Chiddi Obiazor? Perhaps an interior lineman, Tyrique Tucker or Mario Landino.

That’s not to mention Indiana’s linebacker corps, with Isaiah Jones making plays at the second level and Rolijah Hardy getting to the quarterback. Indiana’s secondary could be in line with a big time performance against Rutgers star KJ Duff.

Who gets the nod?
