Utah rolled to a 66-14 season-opening win over visiting FCS Idaho on Sept. 3 as Devon Dampier finished 13-of-18 for 176 yards and three touchdowns before backup Byrd Ficklin threw for another 93 yards and two scores. The Utes rolled up 633 yards, with 364 on the ground, as Lamarcus Bell picked up 87 on just seven carries and scored a TD while Wayshawn Parker had 12 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Arkansas snapped a 10-game losing streak in its opener last Saturday, beating visiting FCS North Alabama 31-14. The Razorbacks went up 21-0 midway through the third quarter and held off the Lions down the stretch. KJ Jackson threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns with an interception while Chris Marshall caught seven passes for 79 yards. Braylen Russell led the ground attack with 49 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.
The Utes finished 11-2 last season with a win over Nebraska in the Las Vegas Bowl while the Razorbacks come off a 2-10 campaign that included an 0-8 mark in the Southeastern Conference.
