Indiana football recruiting roundup: Hoosiers land another commitment, set to host

It’s been another eventful recruiting week for Indiana football as the summer gets fully underway and the Hoosiers’ staff turns its eyes to the future while staying mindful of the present.

There’s two big things to know this week: Indiana landed another commitment after a huge run last week and looks to be in good position to add another in the coming days. Here’s what you need to know from Indiana football’s recruiting this week:

Edge rusher Myles Smith commits

Myles Smith, an edge rusher in the class of 2027 out of Farmington High School in Farmington, Michigan, picked Indiana over a slew of other top programs on Thursday not too long after his official visit to Bloomington. He picked up an expert prediction to the Hoosiers from On3/Rivals that ultimately held true:

Running back Da’Jon Talley-Rhodes visiting

Indiana is set to host Da’Jon Talley-Rhodes, a running back in the class of 2027 out of St. John’s College High School in Washington, DC, for an official visit this week. He bumped up his visit with his decision set to be announced in early June.
