Indiana opens as underdog in Big Ten Football Championship game against Ohio State

No. 2 Indiana football opened as an 6.5-point underdog against No. 1 Ohio State in the Big Ten Football Championship game, set to be played at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 6th, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Hoosiers are coming off of a 56-3 road blowout win over rival Purdue at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette to retain possession of the Old Oaken Bucket and move to 12-0 in 2025, the first such season in program history. Indiana’s berth in the Big Ten Championship is also a first for the program, which won conference titles in 1945 and 1967.

The Buckeyes are coming off of their own rivalry blowout in a 27-9 road win over Michigan in The Game at the Big House in Ann Arbor, moving to 12-0 themselves. It’s Ohio State’s first Big Ten Championship appearance since the 2020 season, where it emerged victorious over Northwestern en route to a run to the College Football Playoff and the National Championship game.
