The Iowa Hawkeyes dominated their Big Ten rivals this year, going undefeated against Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska in three dominant, blowout wins. With the page turned to 2026, these rivals are already at work bolstering their rosters to try and catch the Hawkeyes in 2026.

One of the biggest moves of the early transfer portal cycle is the addition that the Wisconsin Badgers have made to their offense. The Badgers swung big and have landed star dual-threat quarterback Colton Joseph, the former Old Dominion Monarch star, via the transfer portal.

He joins a Badgers' offense that struggled this year, averaging just 12.8 points per game, which was good for No. 135 out of 136 teams. Wisconsin averaged 136 passing yards per game and completed just 57.7% of its passes this year, as it had 13 interceptions to nine touchdowns.

Colton Joseph, who spent two years with Old Dominion, appeared in 21 games for the Monarchs. he threw for 4,251 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. On the ground, he added 1,654 yards and 24 more scores in his two seasons commanding the Monarchs' offense.

This past season, he led Old Dominion to a 9-3 record. This season, he posted 2,624 passing yards and 21 touchdowns to go with 1,007 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.

Coming out of Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California, Joseph was a three-star recruit ranked as the No. 103 quarterback in the class of 2023. He held previous offers from Air Force, Army, and Navy.
