Ohio State superstar wide receiver Jeremiah Smith didn't waste any time in the 2026 season hitting the Heisman pose after an impressive touchdown against Ball State at home on Saturday.

Smith and Miami's Malachi Toney should lead the charger for non-quarterbacks this season in the Heisman Trophy competition, the latter having a field day for the Hurricanes on Friday.

CFB: Why is Ryan Coleman-Williams still dropping easy catches for Alabama?

Smith made sure after this toe-tapping touchdown to hit the Heisman to remind the country that he's still the best wide receiver playing at the college level. Talk about a flex of confidence.

Smith should keep pressing down the gas on the 2026 season, his first game of the Buckeyes slate already giving us the ammo needed to make him a firm Heisman Trophy contender.

When does Ohio State play next?

The team plays Texas in the Lone Star State next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
