Kelsey Pope will face twin brother in Tennessee-Georgia Tech game

Kelsey Pope is in his sixth season at Tennessee in 2026.
2026 marks the first season for him as the Vols' pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach. Pope has served as Tennessee's wide receivers coach since 2022 after being an offensive analyst in 2021 during Josh Heupel's first season as the Vols' head coach.
Tennessee will play at Georgia Tech on Saturday during Week 2 of the 2026 college football season.
Pope's twin brother, Kyle Pope, is Georgia Tech's third-year defensive ends and outside linebackers coach.
Kyle Pope went to the Yellow Jackets after serving as defensive run game coordinator and defensive line coach at Memphis. He was also an inside linebackers coach at Liberty (2019), a graduate assistant at Alabama (2017-18), Presbyterian's defensive line coach (2016) and Holmes Community College's defensive line coach (2015).
Kyle Pope played linebacker at Jacksonville State from 2011-14.
Kelsey Pope was a wide receiver at Samford from 2010-13. He went to Tennessee after serving as pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach at Gardner-Webb in 2020.
Kickoff between Tennessee and Georgia Tech is slated for 7 p.m. EDT on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia (ESPN).
