The Wisconsin Badgers usually get to know their kickoff time for games well in advance, as the Big Ten reveals the full conference television schedule two weeks ahead.
However, that isn’t the case for Wisconsin’s Week 7 matchup against the UCLA Bruins in two weeks. The Badgers will get the week off this week before preparing for their cross-country travel, but they won’t know their kickoff time before Saturday’s games.
The Big Ten revealed the details for five of the seven conference games played in Week 7, but announced that the kickoff time and channel for Wisconsin vs. UCLA and Nebraska vs. Oregon would be determined after the Week 6 games.
Currently, there is one Friday game for Week 7: Washington at Purdue, played at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. There’s also four announced Saturday games: Ohio State at Indiana (12:00 p.m. ET, FOX), Northwestern at Michigan State (12:00 p.m. ET, Peacock), Rutgers at Maryland (12:30 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network, and Penn State at Michigan (3:30 p.m. ET, Network TBD).
The UCLA-Wisconsin matchup could very well be a primetime evening game. The Bruins have had two home games this year, and both have been evening games. They kicked off against Purdue at 8:00 p.m. Pacific, and faced San Diego State at 4:15 p.m. Pacific.
The Bruins, who are ranked No. 21 in the country and stand 4-0 under new head coach Bob Chesney, have their first major challenge in Week 6, as they’ll face the No. 13 Oregon Ducks on the road. They’re currently 11.5-point underdogs in that game, which is set for 12:30 p.m. Pacific on CBS this weekend.
