LSU Schedule: Lane Kiffin and Tigers set for SEC Media Days

SEC football media days begin next week. All 16 SEC head coaches, along with a handful of players, head to Tampa Bay to preview the season. Few appearances are as anticipated as LSU head coach Lane Kiffin's. Given the drama surrounding Kiffin's Ole Miss exit and his tendency to deliver noteworthy quotes, there's no shortage of narrative.

Kiffin and LSU are slated to appear at SEC Media Days on Thursday, July 23, the fourth and final day. The three LSU players joining Kiffin are tight end Trey'Dez Green and veteran linebackers TJ Dottery and Whit Weeks. Dottery is an Ole Miss transfer, following Kiffin to LSU from Oxford. Green and Weeks both began their career at LSU under Brian Kelly and stuck with LSU despite the coaching change.

Also appearing on Thursday are Arkansas, Texas, and Mississippi State. A large portion of the media day activity will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

Expectations are high for LSU ahead of 2026. It's Kiffin's first year in Baton Rouge, but the Tigers signed the top-ranked class in the transfer portal and have the talent to compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
