The Miami Hurricanes have dominated the college football recruiting trail during the 2027 cycle, putting together a 19-man class that features four five-star commitments and ranks No. 2 nationally.

However, coach Mario Cristobal is already looking toward future recruiting classes, and he landed commitments from an elite pair of high school underclassmen on Wednesday.

The 'Canes landed 2028 Carrolton, Georgia, offensive tackle Kweli Fielder, a four-star prospect who already ranks inside the top 60 nationally as a rising junior. They also added a future signal-caller in Fielder's teammate, 2029 quarterback CJ Cypher.

Cypher is currently not ranked, per the 247Sports composite. Heading into his sophomore year, however, he's viewed as one of the top quarterbacks in his class and also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and others.

Cypher becomes Miami's first commit in the 2025 class, while Fielder is the second player to join the Hurricanes' 2028 class after three-star Jacksonville quarterback Knox Annis committed in April.
