Mark Fletcher Jr. enjoyed a strong night as he took shots at Clemson during the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes’ 41-13 win over the Clemson Tigers on Saturday night.
Fletcher has been with the Hurricanes since 2023, going through his fourth at the program. He made his way up the ranks to become a key starter in the offense, breaking out as a star throughout the 2025 campaign.
Miami is on a mission to get back to the national championship game, which they reached last season before falling to Indiana. They have proven that with their hot start to the season, continuing it after beating down Clemson on the road.

Fletcher decided to add insult to injury towards the attending Clemson fans. After scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter, the star rusher celebrated by waving goodbye to the opposing fans. He did while Miami boasted a big lead over the Tigers, showing his firm conviction with the waves.

How Mark Fletcher Jr., Miami played against Clemson
Mark Fletcher Jr. and No. 4 Miami possess incredible form as one of the best teams in the nation. Getting big wins at home and on the road will be valuable to their resume for the CFP bracket.
The Hurricanes controlled the game from start to finish. They prevented the Tigers from getting a touchdown until the fourth quarter when the game was already over, only conceding field goals in the first two quarters.
Darian Mensah enjoyed a solid night with his passing as the run game played a bigger role. He completed 18 out of 27 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown while rushing three times for 27 yards and a touchdown.
Fletcher had a strong night as he racked up 16 carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Cooper Barkate led the receiving corps with five catches for 98 yards and a touchdown.
The No. 4 Hurricanes will look forward to their next matchup, being on the road. They are on a bye next week as they prepare for an in-state rivalry clash with the Florida State Seminoles in Week 7 as kickoff commences on Oct. 17.
