Under the previous two staffs, Michigan football tended to see most of its recruiting class join the class during official visit season in the month of June. But Kyle Whittingham? He's diligently filling up much of the 2027 class in the month of May.
The Wolverines got four commitments in four days, with three four-stars and one three-star, and the maize and blue are looking good for several others. But after getting a few safeties in the class, they've now gotten their first cornerback.
2027 Riverside (Calif.) Notre Dame four-star cornerback Darius Johnson got a bevy of predictions that he would choose Michigan football on Sunday evening. And now, he's made it official, having committed to the Wolverines.
