Michigan State football is in danger of losing a commitment of a 2027 recruiting class member.
Zach Forbish, a Frisco (TX) native, committed to Michigan State after an early June official visit, choosing the Spartans over Pitt and Wisconsin. Now, a home-state school is on the prowl.
Houston has shown interest in the Spartan commit, aiming to flip him to the Cougars. Forbish took an unofficial visit this past weekend to Houston, seeing the Cougars defeat Oklahoma State, and is expected to be back on an official visit.
A 6-foot-3, 190 pound wide receiver, Forbish is a 3-star prospect that ranks as the No. 882 overall prospect and No. 109 wide receiver in the 2027 class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
NEW: Houston, LSU, Miami, SMU and Texas Tech are among the programs that hosted flip targets over the weekend — and now have momentum in their corners
