Michigan State is gearing up to play Eastern Michigan on Saturday afternoon in East Lansing, with the Spartans aiming for a 2-0 start in the Pat Fitzgerald era of MSU football. Coming off of a win against Toledo, the Spartans are hosting the 1-1 Eagles that are coming off of a loss to San Jose State.
Former Michigan State quarterback Noah Kim will be leading the Eagles into Spartan Stadium in his return to East Lansing. Kim was a quarterback for the Spartans from 2020 to 2023 before leaving the program. Now, in his second year as a starter in Ypsilanti, he will look to get revenge against Michigan State.
Meanwhile, Michigan State will look to build off of a 10-point week one win over Toledo, but on Saturday the Spartans will have to do it without their star linebacker Jordan Hall.
