Mike Golic's Wife Is Very Excited For His New Jobs This Football Season

Mike Golic is going to be a busy man this football season.

This week, the longtime ESPN Radio host returned to the network, hosting his new show, "The Golics," with his son, Mike Golic Jr. But that's not the only new gig that Golic will have this football season.

Notre Dame announced that former Fighting Irish star Mike Golic will be serving as an analyst for the program's radio broadcasts this year.

"Welcoming an Irish legend to the radio booth đŸ“» Mike Golic Sr. is joining the SoFi Notre Dame Radio Network!" the Notre Dame football program announced.

The Fighting Irish announced that Golic will serve as the Notre Dame Football color analyst for The SoFi Notre Dame Radio Network, joining returning play-by-play announcer Tony Simeone and studio host Johnny Soper for the 2026 season

"Some places never leave your heart; Notre Dame is one of those places for me," said Golic. "To now have the opportunity to serve on the radio team with Tony and Johnny is both humbling and exciting. I am looking forward to every game, and sharing the passion that makes Irish football unlike anything else."

Notre Dame is pumped, too.

"We are thrilled to add a voice of Mike's caliber to our radio broadcast team," said Jim Fraleigh, University of Notre Dame Deputy Athletics Director for Corporate Relations. "As a former player, Mike brings a rare combination of broadcasting expertise and a genuine passion for Notre Dame and college football as a whole. He'll pair perfectly with the chemistry Tony and Johnny have built over the past two seasons."

Golic's wife is pumped

Christine Golic, the longtime wife of the ESPN Radio star, is very excited.

"Let’s go!!" she wrote on X.

She's pumped by her husband's return to ESPN, too.

The 2026 football season will be a fun one in the Golic household.
