MSU football wide receiver transfers to Big 12 school

A Spartans transfer wide receiver has announced his commitment to a Big 12 school.

Michigan State football transfer wide receiver Evan Boyd has committed to Iowa State of the Big 12. Boyd posted on his social media account to announce his commitment to the Cyclones.

Boyd played one season with the Spartans, joining Michigan State ahead of last year. He appeared in all 12 games with Michigan State this past season, recording three catches for 54 yards. Prior to his time with the Spartans, Boyd played two years at Central Michigan. He appeared in 12 games for the Chippewas, recording 21 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns.

Boyd will have two years of eligibility remaining. He also received interest from Purdue before committing to Iowa State.
