Multiple expert predictions favor Colorado landing elite 4-star DL

Colorado is beefing up its recruiting pressure, as evidenced by several recent commitments and offers to highly rated prospects.

Four-star defensive lineman Tyler Alexander is one of the Buffaloes’ targets who set his four finalists earlier this week, and on Thursday received several expert predictions from On/Rivals.

Chad Simmons, who logged a prediction for Colorado, wrote about Alexander’s recent visit to Boulder (subscription required), in which the Florida native raved about his experience.

“This was definitely one of the best visits I’ve been on so far,” Alexander said to Rivals. “It was my first time there, and I honestly wasn’t expecting how beautiful the state was. Colorado is literally right up against the mountains and the views from the stadium almost look fake. It litterally looks like AI in person.”

The Flatirons can be breathtaking for many people who have never been to Boulder, and Alexander certainly seemed drawn to the picturesque views.

Alexander also came away impressed with the coaching staff, saying he spent multiple hours working with the defensive line coaches, going over various scenarios.

The Wellington, Florida, native seems like a natural fit, and with him narrowing his list to a final four, a commitment appears close.
