Nebraska class of 2027 wide receiver commit Antayvious Ellis had high praise for quarterback Trae Taylor. Ellis recently spoke to the media about his relationship with the quarterback.

Both players will be playing for Millard South this fall. This will give the duo a chance to team up before they begin their collegiate careers. It will be a different experience for both players, with Ellis being a Texas resident and Taylor being an Illinois resident.

In any case, it is sure to be an exciting time for Nebraska fans, as they will get a look at the future. In the meantime, Ellis is excited to be with his quarterback, as he told KETV’s Noah Sacco.

"When I talk about a best friend, that’s him in every aspect, on the field and off the field. We built a great connection off the field, but it also translates on the field with football. He gets onto me, I get onto him, I keep him up, he keep me up, and we're just really consistent with that. It’s truly a brotherhood.”

Husker fans are waiting and eager for this 2027 class in particular. Ellis and Taylor are two key components of the class overall and are key pieces for the future.
