Nebraska football will host class of 2027 safety Brennan Drummond on June 12. He made the announcement on social media.

Drummond is a three-star recruit and the 94th overall player at his position according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He currently holds offers from Georgia, Wake Forest, Florida, and Virginia Tech.

He has taken two unofficial visits to Florida over the past year, most recently on March 26. The safety is also planning to visit Athens, Georgia on June 19, a week after his Nebraska visit.

Currently, the 2027 recruiting class is shaping up nicely. The class has 11 commitments, including six blue-chip prospects. Drummond is a player who can fly under the radar, but his stock is increasing as the summer goes on, and he will no doubt see renewed interest on the recruiting trail.

Nebraska has undoubtedly made a big push by scheduling a visit relatively soon. Drummond already has big schools on his radar, but it still feels like Nebraska is getting in early on this recruitment.
