Marsh on his first touch with the Hoosiers reached out with one hand as he leaned back to paw a 15-yard touchdown catch from fellow transfer Josh Hoover (TCU) and put defending national champion Indiana ahead of North Texas, 7-0, less than 90 seconds into the first quarter. The play occurred on third-and-5.

Marsh, a junior who starred at River Rouge High School in metro Detroit before playing his first two seasons at Michigan State, transferred to Indiana in January.

In his two seasons at MSU, the 6-foot-3, 203-pound Marsh caught 100 passes for 1,311 yards and nine touchdowns. He finished this season with 59 catches for 662 yards and six scores, all team highs, to earn All-Big Ten honorable mention.

In 2024, Marsh set an MSU freshman record with 649 receiving yards and 41 catches, tying for the team lead with three TDs.

He could be an early first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, as could fellow IU receiver Charlie Becker.
