Notre Dame football just keeps on rolling, as they dominated Navy in Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday night, winning 49-10.
It was the Irish’s seventh straight victory, putting their season record at 7-2. Notre Dame took an early 7-0 lead on Jeremiyah Love’s 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, but Navy would answer and tie the game at 7 early in the second.
The Irish would then go on a 42-3 run to end the game, with most of the scoring happening with a 3-touchdown burst in the third quarter. Quarterback CJ Carr threw for 218-yards and 3 touchdowns while Love had 94-yards on 13 carries and 2 scores. Linebacker Jaiden Ausberry led the Irish defense with 8 tackles and a sack.
Notre Dame will be on the road next weekend, as it will take on the Pittsburgh Panthers in what should be a top-25 matchup.
