Former Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett will headline the school's latest nine-member Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

The University announced that Barrett will be joined by Nick Swisher, Katie Borchers, Diane Dixon, Jincy Dunne, Danielle Meyer, Oyesade Olatoye, Chris Sanders, and Stan White Sr. The class will be enshrined sometime this fall.

Barrett built one of the most decorated careers a Buckeye has ever had in Columbus. During his 2014-17 playing career, Barrett started 44 games and set an Ohio State record of 38 victories. He was also the catalyst in helping Ohio State win Big Ten Championships in 2014 and 2017. Should also be noted that he was the first Ohio State quarterback to start in four victories over Michigan.

To this day, Barrett is the Ohio State career leader in completion percentage at 63.5%, passing touchdowns with 104, passing yards with 9,434, and quarterback rushing yards with 3,263. Barrett also finished in the top-10 in Heisman voting twice in his career.

White was a member of Ohio State's 1970 national championship football team as well. The rest of the class celebrates various eras and several different athletic programs.

Established in 1977, the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame had inducted 510 athletes, coaches and administrators through 2025.
