The Ole Miss Rebels are cracking down on misuse of student tickets.

Ahead of Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford with the LSU Tigers, anyone in the Ole Miss student section wearing LSU gear or purple and gold on Saturday will be ejected from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The zero tolerance policy was announced by Ole Miss Athletics on Thursday as security measures have ramped up around campus.

The 8th-ranked Rebels host the No. 7 Tigers in a prime-time matchup.

“No person wearing an opposing team’s gear or colors will be allowed entrance into the student section,” the Ole Miss statement read. “Additionally, anyone found to be wearing opposing team apparel or colors in the student section will be removed.”

The student section mandate is just the latest off-the-field headline for Kiffin's homecoming. As part of the unprecedented security preparations, Ole Miss has put up gates around part of the stadium, including where the LSU buses will be parked during the game.

The packed crowd expected at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is small compared to the over 100,000 people in town for the weekend. Four times the population of Oxford, which has forced police to add additional officers in a "all hands on deck" approach.

As for the game itself, LSU and Ole Miss met for the first time since Kiffin's exit for Baton Rouge. The setting couldn't have been more electrifying after the longtime coach abandoned the Rebels right before the team's first-ever College Football Playoff run. Both teams are 2-0 and ranked in the top-10 for this high-stakes matchup.

The Tigers opened the season with a 51-10 win over Clemson before beating Louisiana Tech 45-14 last week. As for the Rebels, Pete Golding's first season has included wins over Louisville and Charlotte.

Ole Miss welcomes LSU into Oxford on Saturday night (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC).
