The Cleveland Browns enter another season with uncertainty at the quarterback position as Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders look primed to battle it out for the starting job. However, the job has seemingly had a slight lean toward one of those quarterbacks since the hire of new head coach Todd Monken.

And that quarterback is Deshaun Watson.

ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler has been on top of the action inside Berea as well, hinting that perhaps the Browns are not priming much of a battle at all. Here is what ESPN's Jeremy Fowler had to say on SportsCenter about the Browns' impending quarterback battle:

"He’s been a factor already on the practice field. I’m told he’s hit it off with Todd Monken, who’s got an offensive concept, some elements that Watson has run in the past and been his best at; a little bit of a departure from what they were running with Kevin Stefanski."

Browns' starting QB job Watson's to lose

Watson has been the presumed favorite since Monken got the job, and he even had the best betting odds as of last week to win the starting quarterback job in Cleveland. Monken has stated that he does not want to waste any time waiting to name a starting quarterback, so we could get that name even before training camp.

With mandatory minicamp coming up, we could get an answer sooner rather than later on who the Browns intend to give most of their training camp reps to.
