The college football season is quickly approaching, and teams will soon take the field once again. The race for the College Football Playoff is about to begin, and contenders like the Oregon Ducks have their eyes on the ultimate prize.
Head coach Dan Lanning has built a culture at Oregon that thrives on competition. Apparently, that competitive mindset extends beyond practices and the line of scrimmage. It even carries into the huddle in one of the most unconventional ways imaginable.

Quarterback Dante Moore not only leads the charge on the field but also appears to lead the way in this unusual huddle competition.
Oregon tight end Jamari Johnson recently revealed the team’s huddle has an unexpected contest centered around … releasing internal pressure.
“Sometimes Dante farts in the huddle, and we have a like a little competition of who can fart,” Johnson told Portland TV anchor Brenna Greene.
Oregon competitive spirit?
The lighthearted story offers a glimpse into the close bond shared by the Ducks. Not every team can say its players are comfortable enough with one another to turn something like this into a competition.
