“Jezebel” arrives days after Remy publicly called on her estranged husband to finalize their divorce.
Papoose has released a new diss track aimed at his estranged wife Remy Ma, escalating a public feud that has increasingly spilled into music and social media. The record arrives days after Remy again called on him to finalize their divorce and months after her Remy’s “W.Y.F.L.” freestyle appeared to take shots at both Papoose and his girlfriend, boxer Claressa Shields.
Papoose released “Jezebel” on Sept. 11 with a music video. The Sean2 Miles-produced track includes accusations that Remy cheated during their marriage, lied about him being unfaithful and resented the praise he received for supporting her while she was incarcerated.
The rapper also revisits a long-running dispute over songwriting. On the track, Papoose claims he wrote some of Remy’s rhymes, an allegation she rejected on “W.Y.F.L.” in April. Remy used that song to push back against claims that her estranged husband had ghostwritten her material.
Papoose also references his support for Remy during her prison sentence, including sending mail, bringing food and helping with bail. He repeatedly uses the song’s title as an insult and describes their relationship as one in which he believes his loyalty was not returned.
Remy has denied claims that Papoose ghostwrote her material and has accused him of cheating. Papoose has denied those accusations and has accused Remy of infidelity. Both have aired competing versions of their breakup publicly.
Their separation has also become intertwined with Shields, who is now in a relationship with Papoose. Remy and Shields exchanged messages publicly again this week after Remy posted footage from a video shoot involving boxers Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner.
Papoose filed for divorce in May 2025. He and Remy exchanged vows over the phone in 2008 while she was incarcerated and later held a televised wedding ceremony in 2016. They share a daughter, Reminisce Mackenzie.
